Having decided that the autumnal weather and associated 3 metre swells were now becoming more frequent, we have decided to make arrangements to winter the boat at Vigo. We left Combarro and headed for the Islas Cies – a protected Spanish nature reserve - in the Ria de Vigo estuary. We anchored for a couple of hours before setting of on our final short hop of the year to Vigo.
